The IronHeart founder and Training Director, Matt Skogen, holds a distinguished record of success in training police dogs for law enforcement agencies, protection dogs for private individuals, and hundreds of dogs for the pest control industry. Matt has been featured in Police K9 Magazine, National Geographic, Dog Fancy Magazine, USA Today, the Weather Channel and other national and local news media outlets. He also regularly instructs in Europe and South America and has even received international acclaim for his work with zoos in using dogs to detect pregnancy in polar bears.
